At GMA, lab testing is more than a routine step, it’s a vital tool in your healthcare journey. Our on-site laboratory supports the work of your provider, offering timely results that help guide accurate diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care. We offer a full spectrum of lab services, including everything from routine bloodwork and metabolic panels to hormone testing and disease-specific diagnostics.

Every week, patients from across western Colorado choose GMA for their lab services. Our reputation for skilled phlebotomy, careful specimen handling, and reliable service makes us a trusted destination for both current GMA patients and those visiting with outside lab orders.

Why Lab Testing Matters

Lab results can offer valuable insight, but they’re only part of the picture. That’s why we strongly encourage patients to schedule a follow-up visit—virtual or in-person—with a GMA provider. A licensed medical professional can explain what your results mean in the context of your health history and help determine what, if any, next steps are needed.

If you’re not currently a GMA patient, our team can help you establish care with one of our primary care providers. It’s a simple way to move from results to real answers and ensure your health stays on track.

Serving Quest & LabCorp Patients

GMA’s lab also serves as a draw site for Quest and LabCorp. If your provider has issued a lab requisition through either of these organizations, simply bring the order with you, and our experienced phlebotomists will collect your specimens and send them to the appropriate lab.

Please arrive no later than 2:00 p.m. to ensure same-day courier pickup.
LabCorp and Quest specimens are picked up at 2:30 p.m. daily.
QuantiFERON tests are available Monday–Thursday, 12:00–2:00 p.m.

Convenient and Efficient

Our STAT lab model allows most GMA patients to complete their blood work 35–45 minutes before their appointment, so results can be reviewed during the visit. No separate appointment is required for lab services.

Open Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
No appointment necessary for most lab services.
We recommend arriving early if you’re traveling from out of town or have time-sensitive testing needs.
