Your skin deserves the highest level of care. Our board-certified dermatologists provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions—from everyday concerns to more complex medical needs. We combine clinical expertise with a compassionate, educational approach, helping you understand your skin and make informed decisions about your care.
Living at high altitude and enjoying an outdoor mountain lifestyle means your skin is exposed to stronger UV radiation year-round, increasing the risk for sun damage and skin cancer. Our dermatology team is highly experienced in identifying early signs of sun-related changes and providing preventive care tailored to life in the Roaring Fork Valley. Whether you’re managing chronic conditions, noticing a new spot, or simply want to protect your skin, we’re here with the specialized care you need.
Our dermatology team diagnoses and treats a full spectrum of conditions, including:
Skin cancer & pre-cancers
Inflammatory & chronic skin conditions
Infections & acute concerns
Growths, lesions & aesthetic concerns
Hair & nail conditions
Mohs surgery is one of the most advanced and effective treatments for basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma, the two most common types of skin cancer. At GMA, Mohs micrographic surgery is performed in-house by Dr. Maggie Kober, a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon.
This technique removes skin cancer layer by layer, examining each sample in real time to ensure all cancerous cells are eliminated while preserving as much healthy tissue as possible. Mohs offers the highest cure rate and the smallest possible scar, making it the gold standard for treating skin cancers on the face, head, neck, and other sensitive areas.
Receiving this advanced care locally means you don’t have to travel far for specialized treatment — your care team is right here where you need them.

“I specialize in Mohs surgery, the most effective and precise treatment for many skin cancers. My goal is to provide expert care while also helping you feel informed, comfortable, and supported throughout the process. Living at high altitude poses unique sun-exposure risks, so I believe education and prevention are just as important as treatment. Clear communication, mutual trust, and compassion guide my approach, so you can feel confident you’re receiving both exceptional care and thoughtful attention every step of the way.”
